• Millersville's 4-0 victory in 2016 broke a seven game losing streak to the Vulcans. Currently Millersville is 7-10-2 against California (Pa.) since their first meeting in 1994.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• California (Pa.) was picked to finish 14th in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's preseason poll after finishing the 2016 season 2-11-3.
• The Vulcans lost 1-0 to non-conference opponent West Liberty University. California (Pa.) only attempted one shot in the first half but turned up the offensive pressure and recorded five shots in the second half. While the Vulcans struggled on offense, senior keeper Michaela Colon faced 14 shots and saved four shots on goal. Millersville's offense will need to stay hot to get past the experienced keeper on her home field.
