GAME OVERVIEW
•    When Millersville handed Shippensburg its first loss of the season back on Jan. 28, it looked to be a positive turning point in the season. After that game, Millersville had scored 179 points in his previous two games, winning them by a total of 47 points. But since then, the Marauders have lost three in a row, scoring fewer than 60 points in all three games. The Marauders had scored fewer than 60 points just once in the first 19 games. In the last two games, Millersville has allowed an average of 91 points while making a total of six 3-pointers--its lowest total in a two-game stretch of the season. Against Bloomsburg, Millersville failed to record a steal for the first time this season. The last three opponents have shot  50.8 percent from the field and outscored Millersville 38.6-24.0 in the first half of the games. Slow starts have been an issue for the Marauders. They are 1-11 when trailing at halftime and 6-4 when leading at the break.
•    When the Marauders play good defense, they win. The team is 0-8 when allowing more than 80 points, 4-1 when holding teams to fewer than 70 and 7-6 when holding opponents to under 80 points. In the team's seven wins, it is holding opponents to 69.3 points per game (while scoring 80.1), a .414 shooting percentage and a .280 percentage from three. In the 15 losses, opponents average 82.9 points, .495 percent from the field and .389 from three.
•    Another key for the Marauders is the offensive production of Marcus Adkison, Cornell Yarde II and Conrad Chambers. Adkison has averaged 20.0 points per game, and hit .417 percent of his threes in the team's seven wins but 12.5 points and .343 shooting from three in losses. Chambers' average in wins is 15.6 but 12.0 in losses, and his 3-point field goal percentage drops from .405 to .258. Yarde averages 15.3 points, a .459 field goal percentage and a .486 percentage from three in wins but 12.0 points, a .376 field goal percentage and a .383 3-point percentage in losses.
•    In the first meeting with Lock Haven, Millersville shot 46.3 percent from the field and made 12-of-25 threes. Adkison scored 25 points, making 5-of-9 threes. Adkison has scored 20 or more points seven times this season. Since making 5-of-10 threes against Cheyney, he's made 4-of-25 over the last four games. Adkison has scored over 24 or more points in three of the team's seven wins. Adkison scored double figures in six of the team's seven wins.
•    Millersville has made at least seven 3-pointers in six of seven wins and is 1-7 when making fewer than seven.
•    Millersville ranks third in the PSAC in turnovers committed per game at just 12.8. It also ranks third in turnover margin (2.77). Millersville has totaled over 20 turnovers just twice in 22 games, and has committed fewer than 10 five times. Millersville has averaged 11.1 turnovers in its seven wins.
•    Saturday's game is crucial for both teams' playoff prospects. Millersville trails Lock Haven by a half-game and Mansfield by a full game for the final spot from the PSAC East. Millersville must beat Lock Haven to negate the head-to-head tiebreaker.

SCOUTING LOCK HAVEN
• Lock Haven has lost three of four with the three losses coming by an average of 21.3 points. Two of those losses, however, came against nationally-ranked Kutztown and Shippensburg, and the one win in that stretch was over PSAC East third-place team East Stroudsburg. Lock Haven can score, ranking fifth in the PSAC at 80.7 points per game. The team's .470 field goal percentage is fifth-best. Lock Haven, however, allows 80 points per game.  Lock Haven's 98 made threes is second fewest in the PSAC, but its 295 attempts is also second fewest. It has attempted 199 fewer threes than Millersville and 296 fewer than league-leader IUP.
•    Amir Hinton is challenging for the PSAC-lead in scoring average at 23.2 points per game--just 0.3 points behind the leader. Hinton also ranks fifth in field goal percentage and 12th in rebounding.
