GAME OVERVIEW
• After a 21-day layoff, Millersville men's basketball returns to its home court for the PSAC Eastern Division opener against Cheyney. Millersville has dropped three in a row, but four of the team's eight losses have come by single digits. Cheyney enters the game with a 1-8 record. Millersville has scored over 100 points in all three wins, and the Marauders will look to do the same against a Cheyney team that is allowing 85.1 points per game while scoring just 54.8. Millersville averages 82 points per game, which ranks sixth in the PSAC. Cheyney ranks last in scoring offense, field goal percentage and 3-point field goal percentage.
• While Cheyney holds the all-time series lead at 65-57, Millersville has won three in a row and 10 of the last 12 dating back to 2011-12. Cheyney has not won at Pucillo Gymnasium since 2010, losing six in a row in the building. While Millersville has had the upper hand, the games have been closely contested. Aside from the Marauders' 97-67 win at home last season, 11 of the last 12 games have been decided by an average of 5.5 points per game.
• After missing four games with an ankle injury, Caden Najdawi slowly worked his way back into the lineup, playing no more than 20 minutes in the following three games. He returned to the starting lineup against Slippery Rock and delivered his second double-double of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds. In both of his double-double performances, Najdawi has gotten to the line at least nine times. In his other six games, Najdawi has attempted just 10 total foul shots. He has played more than 30 minutes just three times, and those three account for all three of his double-figure scoring performances. He averaged 16.7 points and 9.7 rebounds in those three games but 3.8 points and 1.8 rebounds in the other five games.
• Marcus Adkison has scored at least 10 points in 10 consecutive games and is impressively shooting 50.0 percent from the field, 46.5 percent from three and 93.8 percent from three. Adkison and Kutztown's Anthony Lee are the only players in the PSAC shooting at least 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from three and 90 percent from the line. Adkison ranks third in the PSAC and eighth nationally in free throw percentage and is second in the PSAC and 39th in Division II in 3-point field goal percentage.  His 17 field goals made against Clarion are tied for the most by any player in Division II this season.
• Adkison is just a scorer. He ranks fourth in the PSAC in steals per game with 2.3. Adkison has at least two steals in seven games, has 17 in his last five games and nine in the last two. His five steals against Slippery Rock matched a career high.
• As a team, the Marauders average 11.64 steals per game, which is the second-best average in the PSAC. The Marauders' 128 total steals is tied for fourth in Division II. Millersville's 20.45 turnovers forced per game also ranks fourth in Division II. Millersville has forced 20-plus turnovers in five consecutive games.

SCOUTING THE WOLVES
• Cheyney's -29.4 scoring margin says it all. All eight of the Wolves' losses have been by double-digits. The lone win came by a 66-62 win against Pitt-Johnstown on Dec. 2. Cheyney shot a season-best 42.9 percent from the field and made 8 of 21 threes in that win. The Wolves, however, have not shot higher than 40 percent in any other game this season. Cheyney's best chance to win is to keep the game low-scoring, as it did against UPJ. Cheyney's season high in points is 66. Millersville has been susceptible to defensive lapses, allowing 79.8 points per game and opponents are shooting .472 from the field, a mark which ranks 15th in the PSAC.
