Lock Haven, Pa. – The Millersville women's cross country team ended its 2017 season by finishing 20^th out of 22 teams in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Championship Saturday morning.

Freshman Victoria Ranck finished first among the Marauders placing 107^th with a time of 24:24.6. Nine second behind her teammate, senior Aniya Gibbs finished her last cross country meet in her career. Gibbs captured 108^th (24:33.2).

With a 120th-place finish, freshman Alexa Happ went through the finish line in the third spot on the team with a time of 25:10.7. Freshman Yoangelys Rijo-Cedeno ran a 25:50.6 with a 129^th place finish. Classmate Elizabeth Rudderow finished the group in 136^th. Rudderow ran a 26:18.2.

Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) cross country individual champion, Julia Friend, claimed victory in today's 6k meet for her to advance to the NCAA Championship. The 2017 PSAC team champion, Edinboro, won the NCAA Atlantic Regional by having two runners in the top 10.
