Fairmont State defeats Millersville, 7-2

Box Score Millersville, Pa. – Freshman Ben Fellman and junior Peter Landis triumphed in their singles matches for the two Millersville wins in Sunday's 7-2 loss to Fairmont State.

Millersville moved to a 1-3 record while Fairmont State improved to 2-0.

Fellman went down in the first set 6-3, but then came back to win the second set, 7-5. Fellman battled to secure the match with a 10-8 third set victory.

Landis got his victory with a 6-4 first set win. Fairmont State's Gui Pachane had to retire in the second set to give Landis the win.

Landis recorded his fourth singles win of the season. When Fellman improved to 2-0 in three-set matches this season. He win was the fourth of the season.

The Marauders did not win any of the doubles matches.

The Marauders travel for their last match of the fall season on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 1 p.m. against University of the District of Columbia.
