Lancaster, Pennsylvania - The Millersville wrestling team returned from Winter Break by competing in Saturday's David H. Lehman Open at nearby Franklin & Marshall. 149-pound David Charles led the Marauders with six wins and a third-place finish. 

Charles scored the first tournament placing of his Millersville career. Charles opened with a decision and 16-0 tech fall over John Kenyon of the Naval Academy. After dropping into the consolation bracket, Charles pinned Old Dominion's Will Verallis in 1:40 and moved past Collin Glorioso with a 3-2 decision. Charles advanced to the third-place bout via medical forfeit and there met up with Maryland's Adam Whitesell--the same wrestler that handed Charles his loss in the championship bracket. While Whitesell won the first match-up by 7-1 decision, Charles exacted revenge in the second meeting, scoring a fall 20 seconds into the second period. 

Three Marauders competed in the 125-pound class. All three won at least one match. Austin Camacci went 1-2, winning his first match--a 15-12 barn burner--against Thomas Cox of NC State. Camacci bowed out to teammate teammate Aaron Wildonger with a medical forfeit. Wildonger, after losing his first match, responded with three wins in the consolation bracket including two major decisions. Wildonger was knocked out in the consolation quarterfinals by Brown's Michael Russo, who reached the third-place match. Also at 125 pounds, Connor Sheehan went 1-2 with a decision. 

David Wuestner posted two wins including a first-round fall at 285 pounds. Kyle Loeb went 1-2 with a decision at 141 pounds, Liam Frank picked up one decision at 174 pounds. 

Millersville wrestles its first home dual of 2017 on Jan. 10 against Kutztown. The match starts at 7 p.m.
