East Stroudsburg has won six consecutive games and eight of the last nine. Tied for first in the PSAC in scoring offense, the Warriors will challenge a Marauders' defense that has allowed 191 points (95.5 ppg) and 56.2 percent shooting in its last two games.  The good news for Millersville is that Friday's game is at home, where it is 4-1 and holding teams to 74.8 points and 44.8 percent shooting. By comparison, in away games, the Marauders are 1-5 and allowing 79.2 points per game on 47.9 percent shooting. Millersville ranks 15th in the 18-team league in field goal percentage defense.
•    Millersville has managed to offset its defensive struggles by generating turnovers and taking care of the ball offensively. Millersville has committed fewer turnovers than each of its 11 opponents and leads the PSAC in committing just 10.9 turnovers per game. Millersville's 4.55 turnover margin is third in the PSAC, trailing East Stroudsburg, which ranks No. 2. The Warriors create 20.8 turnovers per game with a league-leading 9.33 steals per game. Jon Lott ranks 15th in the PSAC in assist/turnover ratio (1.5).
•    Millersville and East Stroudsburg first played in the 1912-13 season, and Millersville dominated the series until 2008-09, owning a 95-43 lead. But since 2008-09, ESU has won 14 of the last 18 including three in a row and seven of the last eight. Millersville's last win came by a 61-58 score in 2015. Millersville has scored more than 70 points just once in the last eight meetings while ESU has 82 points per game in that stretch.
•    A key for the Marauders is the scoring of guards Marcus Adkison and Conrad Chambers. In Millersville's five wins, Adkison is averaging 21.2 points while shooting 92.9 percent from the foul line and 43.1 percent from three. In the six losses, his averages dropped to 13.8 points, 72.2 percent from the line and 41 percent from three. Similarly, Chambers averages 17.2 points per game in the wins but 12.3 points in the losses. Chambers has also shot 48.2 percent in wins but 32.4 percent in losses.
•    Jordan Greene has quickly emerged as a key contributor. After averaging 4.5 points and 2.3 rebounds over the first eight games, Greene has averaged 15.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per game over the last three.  He scored a career-high 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting against Mansfield and also grabbed a career-high eight rebounds. He made 8-of-9 foul shots against Mansfield and Goldey-Beacom.
