MATCH OVERVIEW
• Millersville hosts Shippensburg Tuesday in a PSAC match-up. Millersville is coming off a split at the Kutztown duals, losing a close contest to LIU Post and then topping American International. The biggest loss, however, was when heavyweight David Wuestner suffered an injury and could not continue against LIU Post. That six points was the difference in the match, and Wuestner will be out of the lineup Tuesday as well.
• Millersville won by 22-15 and 22-16 scores in 2013-14 and 2014-15 but Shippensburg ended the Marauders' two-match streak in 2015-16 by a 33-14 score. Millersville's wins came from David Wuestner, Thomas Nulty and Alex Baider--none of who will be in the lineup on Tuesday.
• Shippensburg's Evan Ramos is ranked No. 6 in Division II and first in Super Region 1. He owns a 20-2 record with five major decisions. He won the PSAC Championships. His only two losses came to a Division I wrestler and to the No. 12-ranked wrestler in Division II.
• Possible rematches from last season's dual include Austin Camacci vs. Dustin Steffenino at 125. Last year, Steffenino pinned Camacci in the third round. At 157, D.J. Mele is expected to return to the lineup for the first time since Nov. 19. Mele started the season 3-2 with two one-point losses. His opponent may be Adam Martz, who edged Mele 3-1 last season. However, Shippensburg may move several wrestlers up a weight class to avoid a forfeit at 174.
• 165-pound Shane Ruhnke is back on track after dropping seven consecutive matches. Ruhnke placed fourth at the "Shorty" Hitchcock Memorial Classic with a 4-2 record and also picked up a pair of dual wins via forfeit over the weekend, boosting his record to 13-8. He also leads the team with seven falls. At 149 pounds, David Charles has boosted his record to 13-7 after winning seven of his last 10 matches. Included in that recent run are two falls and a tech fall. His three tech falls lead the team.
• Shippensburg is in search of its first PSAC dual win. While the team has a 9-10 record, it is 3-5 against Division II programs. All three of its wins came at least weekend's Kutztown duals. Mike Springer is one of three wrestlers with double-digit wins and he leads the team with seven falls.
