GAME OVERVIEW
• Millersville enters Saturday's contest after a 2-1 overtime win against Pitt-Johnstown which snapped a five-game losing streak for the Marauders. Millersville came out strong early against the Lady Cats, with two chances blocked by the defense and another pair on frame that were saved by the goalkeeper. In the 20th minute,
Halie Parker beat her defender on the left side and got tackled in the box for a penalty kick.
Savannah Hall was robbed on a beautiful save from Leigh Appolonia to keep the game scoreless.
• After Pitt-Johnstown nearly scored in the first, the Marauders came out firing in the second. Parker put a shot on frame that was turned away before
Kaylie Cutlip rose up off a corner and sent a header in the back of the net to give Millersville a 1-0 lead. The two sides would trade opportunities before the Lady Cats scored the equalizer in the 81st. Parker would nearly give the Marauders a regulation win, pushing a shot just wide before time expired and the game went to overtime.
• Millersville wasted little time, after a Pitt-Johnstown opportunity the Marauders countered and
Kay Liebl nearly won the game from the top of the box. Minutes later, Parker swung a ball in the box that was punched out to the waiting
Alexandrea Powell who took one touch and sent it home for the game-winning goal.
ABOUT THE SERIES
• Millersville is winless against Gannon, going 0-6 all-time and falling on the road last year 1-0. The Marauders fell 3-2 in the first-ever matchup between the two teams.

• When the two sides squared off last season, Gannon entered the matchup ranked fourth in the country. Despite being outshot 25-3 in the game, the Marauders and Golden Knights were scoreless at the half.
Samantha Wolfe racked up 12 saves in the game, but was beaten in the 50th minute when Sammy Valloud found Michelle Genetin behind the defense and Genetin finished.
• Millersville nearly tied the game in the 64th when Megan Kelly was robbed by Shannon Differ to lift Gannon to a 1-0 win.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• The Golden Knights have been outscored 14-9 thus far in 2016 and are averaging just 13.4 shots per game to their opponents 15.6
• Gannon is lead by the freshman-sophomore scoring duo of Taylor Lewis and Nicole Felice, who each have three goals on the season. Three other Golden Knights have chipped in with a goal while Hanna Manczka and Kelsey O'Connner each have an assist.
• Gannon has used three different goalkeepers to this point, with Shannon Differ and Danitza Indacochea both getting starts. Differ has 21 saves on just seven goals in three starts while Indacochea has eight saves against five goals in two starts.
