ABOUT THE MATCH
• Millersville rolled to a 5-1 record in PSAC Eastern Division play for the No. 2 seed in the PSAC Tournament. It was the Marauders' best finish and most league wins since 2003-04. Among the wins was a 6-3 win over Wednesday's opponent, Bloomsburg. The winner of the quarterfinal moves on to the PSAC Semifinals. Millersville has reached the postseason in four of the last five seasons but has just one postseason win since 2005. That was a PSAC Quarterfinal win over West Chester in 2013.
• California (Pa.) has won each of the last nine PSAC Championships. Millersville last won a league title in 2002. Millersville won five league titles from 1997-2002. Bloomsburg hast the most-ever championships with 10 and won three in a row from 2004-06 before Cal's recent run.
• Millersville has varied its lineup for much of the season. Only
Sarah Sambrick and
Nicole Daacke have been mainstays. Sambrick, a freshman, is 9-10 in the No. 1 spot and went 5-1 in league play. Daacke, playing in the No. 2 spot, went 7-10 and 3-3 against PSAC East foes.
Tori Davis went 3-1 in the No. 3 spot against the East and
Kimberly Theophile went 4-2 against the East playing both No. 4 and No. 3.
Kaylora Thompson provided a 3-1 division record in the No. 5 slot.

Jessica Soullaird and
Paola Zablah have all played No. 6 singles.
• Millersville went a combined 13-5 in doubles against the PSAC East. Sambrick and Daacke played in the No. 1 spot in all six matches and scored a 3-3 record. Millersville used seven different combinations throughout the division schedule. Theophile and Thompson and Hershey and Soullaird both went 2-0.
SERIES HISTORY
• Millersville has defeated Bloomsburg just eight times in 49 meetings. In the meeting on March 25, Sambrick, Daacke, Davis and Thompson won singles matches. Davis and Thompson combined for a doubles win in the No. 2 spot and Hershey and Theophile won in the No. 3 spot. The match was highly-competitive with five of the six singles matches needing tiebreakers or a third set. Davis and Thompson needed a tiebreaker for their doubles win. That win was the first over Bloomsburg since 2013 and the second in the last 14 meetings.
ABOUT THE OPPONENT
• Bloomsburg enters the tournament with a 4-8 overall record and went 4-2 against the PSAC East. Most recently, the Huskies fell by a 7-2 score to Division I Bucknell. Gabriela Bachinski has been the team's No. 1 in all PSAC East singles matches, going 4-2. Cassandra Wentz owns a 5-1 record while playing in the No. 3 and No. 4 spots. Siena Cerra also went 4-1 as the No. 6 in PSAC East play.
