Millersville, Pa. - The Millersville women's tennis team picked up a key PSAC East victory Saturday at home, topping Kutztown by a 6-3 final.
The win improved the Marauders to 5-8 overall and 3-0 in PSAC East play. It was the team's fourth consecutive win. It also helped the Marauders keep pace with West Chester for first place in the division.

Sarah Sambrick improved to 3-0 in league play with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Jessica Burns.
Tori Davis won 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 3 spot and
Kimberly Theophile won 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 4 slot.
While the teams split singles action, the difference came in doubles were the Marauders took all three points. The No. 1 team of Sambrick and
Nicole Daacke won, 8-2. Davis and Theophile combined for a 9-7 in in the No. 2 spot and the No. 3 duo of
Jessica Soullaird and
Kelley Hershey won, 8-4.
Millersville has five matches left on its schedule. The next two are non-conference tilts. The Marauders head to Philadelphia University on Sunday for a 12 p.m. start.
