West Chester, Pa. - With the PSAC Eastern Division women's tennis title on the line, West Chester defeated Millersville by a 9-0 score Thursday afternoon. 

West Chester (12-6, 6-0) completed its division schedule with a spotless record while Millersville fell to 6-10 overall and 4-1 in the PSAC East with the loss. West Chester won all six of its division matches by 9-0 scores. Shippensburg remains on Millersville's schedule but the Marauders are in position to score its best league record since 2004. 

Millersville battled in doubles, taking at least one game in all three match-ups. All six singles matches were determined in straight sets. Sarah Sambrick's 6-0, 6-1 loss to Claire Uhle in the No. 1 flight was her first in PSAC East action. 

Millersville travels to Shippensburg on April 16. The Marauders will also host a PSAC Quarterfinal contest on April 26.
