GAME OVERVIEW
• Millersville posted yet another shutout in its most recent match against West Chester. The Marauders scored two goals in the first half and added another insurance effort in the second as they improved to 8-0-1 overall and 6-0 in the PSAC with the 3-0 win over the Golden Rams. The unbeaten streak also marks the best start in program history.
• The 2015 edition of coach Steve Widdowson's squad are extremely balanced as its 2.44 goals per game average is tied for first in the PSAC and its goals against average of .56 is also the best mark within the conference.
• For the season, Jaime Vazquez has paced the Marauder offensive attack as he ranks first in the PSAC in points (24), goals (11) and game-winning goals (3). The 24 points marks a career-high for the Bernville, Pa., native as the Marauders have surpassed the halfway point of the 2015 season.
• Eight different Marauders have netted a goal on the season, including five freshmen (Jaxson Burns, Chase Flickinger, Dylan Fogerty, Kyle Finsterbush and Danny Kline). Burns, Flickinger, Marcus Frangakis and Ben Johnston have each netted two goals on the year, which ties for second best on the team.
• The Marauders strong start was rewarded with a No. 10 ranking in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA Division II Men's Soccer National Poll. The Marauders remained in the No. 2 spot in the Atlantic Regional rankings after being placed No. 4 two weeks ago.
• Goalkeeper Kohl Orner has been extremely composed and reliable in net as he has played every minute of each of Millersville's first nine games. Orner has been the leader of the backline of defense that consists of the likes of usual starters Devin Rediker, Tanner Brenize, Kyle Finsterbush and Ahmed Qaisi. Orner has made 34 saves on year and his six shutouts is the top mark in the PSAC.

ABOUT THE SERIES
• The series has consisted of all Marauder victories. Goldey-Beacom and the Ville met for the first time in 2000 with the Marauders upending the visitors by a 3-1 score. Millersville has also scored three or more goals in five out of the seven matches between the two schools.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• In its latest match, Goldey-Beacom buried a trio of second-half goals and posted its third victory in the last five outings, 3-0 at East Stroudsburg. The contest was nip and tuck most of the way before Goldey-Beacom finally opened the scoring in the 67th minute with a goal scored by freshman Chahin Aghrim. ESU only had one shot between that and the Lightning's second tally that came in the 82nd minute.  Sophomore Manuel Berto launched a perfect free kick that junior Rerom Delys headed in for his team-leading fourth goal of the campaign. Aghrim made it a three-point night, assisting in the 86th minute on the second goal of the year from sophomore Omar Hernandez. Freshman keeper Suhail Bismilla totaled six saves in the Lightning victory.

PSAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
• For the second time of the 2015 season, Millersville men's soccer senior Jaime Vazquez was honored as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Player of the Week. The Tulpehocken product scored five goals in two games as Millersville improved to 7-0-1. Vazquez scored a hat trick in an incredible comeback against Pitt-Johnstown. The Marauders trailed 2-0 with 10 minutes to play, and Vazquez scored three goals in less than eight minutes. Vazquez then scored the game-winner and netted another goalazo in a 5-0 shutout of Gannon on Saturday.
