MILLERSVILLE, Pa. -
Zander Leik and
Roy Parkyn have both been named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region Team. Leik earned a place on the First Team, while Parkyn was selected to the Second Team.
Leik recorded a standout season after returning from a season-ending injury the previous year. He led the Marauders offensively with a career-high 11 goals and added four assists for a total of 26 points. The redshirt junior produced an impressive eight-game stretch during which he scored seven goals across six matches. Leik continued this momentum into the postseason, scoring twice in the PSAC semifinal win over Bloomsburg and adding another goal in the PSAC Championship against Gannon. He was named to the All-PSAC East First Team and earned a selection to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-Atlantic Region Second Team.
Parkyn finished second on the team in offensive production behind Leik. He played a dominant role in the midfield, dictating the pace of play while building off the momentum of his sophomore season. Parkyn opened his junior campaign with a strong September, scoring five goals throughout the month. The England native recorded two multi-goal matches and concluded the year ranked second on the team with six goals and third with three assists. Like Leik, Parkyn was selected to the All-PSAC East First Team and the D2CCA All-Atlantic Region Second Team.
