Millersville, Pa. – The Millersville men's tennis season came to a close Tuesday, April 21 with an 8-1 loss to Roberts Wesleyan (N.Y.).
Millersville's lone team point against the Red Eagles came at No. 5 singles as
Dylan Ryan ousted Dustin Eshleman by 6-2, 6-4 scores.
Jody Sambrick Jr. lost his final career match at No. 1 singles to Charles Farres. Sambrick Jr. was edged 6-7, 6-0, 7-6.
At No. 3 doubles, Millersville's
Niko Mucci and
Pearson Clary gave Emanuel Rauchle and Rene Torti fits, but the Redhawks were able to hang on to a narrow 8-6 win.
