Hilton Head, S.C. - The Millersville men's tennis team fell to NCAA Division III Baldwin Wallace, 7-2, on the third day of its annual spring break trip to Hilton Head Tennis and Beach Club.
Millersville (0-3) wasn't able to defeat the Yellow Jackets No. 1 player Peter Harris or No. 2 Doug Ganin in singles action. Harris and Gannin were pushed by Marauder No. 1
Jody Sambrick Jr. and No. 2
Kevin Tran but both fell in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-3, respectively.
Dylan Ryan picked up his second win of the season when he defeated Jake Liebler by scores of 6-3, 6-2. Ryan was responsible for the other Marauder victory when he teamed with
Tucker Mertz in doubles action to down the Baldwin Wallace No. 2 team by a 9-7 score.
The Marauders have two matches left on the slate at Hilton Head before returning to Millersville for the remainder of their spring competition. Millersville battles NAIA foe Missouri Valley tomorrow afternoon in pursuit of its first spring victory.
