Complete Game Notes (.PDF)GAME OVERVIEW• With two games remaining, Millersville is a half-game up on Shippensburg and Lock Haven for the No. 4 seed in the PSAC Tournament. Mansfield, currently out of the field in seventh place, is only one game behind the Marauders. Wednesday's match-up is significant as Millersville could clinch a postseason berth and grab the head-to-head tiebreaker with a berth. The No. 4 seed gets a first round home game, and that's important for a Millersville club that is 9-4 in Pucillo Gymnasium. Millersville is looking to bounce back from a 78-71 loss at Lock Haven while Shippensburg is trying to steady itself after three consecutive losses. The Raiders had won four in a row prior to the recent three-game skid. Ship's struggles have been on the offensive end during the losing streak, scoring no more than 52 points in any of the games. Shippensburg shot better than 48 percent in each of its four consecutive wins from Jan. 21-Feb. 4, but they have since shot no higher than 40.4 percent.

Eddie Callender recorded 18 points and 11 rebounds in the first meeting with Shippensburg. He leads the team with six double-doubles this season. Callender has been among the most consistent players. He is one of only two players to have played in every game leads the team in minutes played, rebounds, scoring average and blocked shots. He has scored in double figures in a team-high 20 games and has led the team in rebounding 12 times. He averages 8.5 rebounds per game in the team's 13 wins but only 5.1 rebounds per game in the team's 13 losses. The Marauders are 6-0 when Callender records a double-double.

Anthony Moe fouled out in just 12 minutes in the first meeting with Shippensburg. But that was only his third game as a Marauder and he's been much improved since, recording five double-digit rebounding efforts and grabbing at least nine boards in seven of the last eight games. Callender has scored in double-figures in four of the last five games. In the last five games, Moe is averaging 15.3 points, 12.0 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 61.5 percent from the field.
• Millersville ranks third in the PSAC in free throw percentage at .741 and is second in free throw attempts with 626. The Marauders on are pace to set a single season record for best free throw percentage which was set at .731 in 1984-85. Millersville has shot better than 75 percent from the line in 15 games and has hit at least 20 free throws seven times.
• Millersville has won eight of the last 11 meetings dating back to 2009-10. The Marauders have won four in a row and six of the last eight inside Pucillo Gymnasium with Ship's last win in the building coming in 2011.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT• Shippensburg went 3-23 last season but is now entrenched in a battle for the PSAC Tournament. The Raiders are led by the 6-10 Dylan Edgar, who redshirted last season. Edgar ranks first in the PSAC in rebounding (9.1) and is seventh in scoring (15.9). Justin McCarthur is having a breakout freshman season has to be the favorite for PSAC East Rookie of the Year honors after winning the rookie of the week award four times including three in a row during the month of January.
