GAME OVERVIEW
• The Millersville women's soccer team welcome the Mercyhurst Lakers to town on Senior Day. Prior to kickoff, the athletic department and the women's soccer program will celebrate the careers of Ville seniors Emily Purcell, Victoria Kramer, Kristin Lepley and Megan Kelley.
• With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, the men's and women's soccer programs will be hosting a "Shoot for a Cure" at Pucillo Field. The Relay for Life group will be on hand for both matches selling pink shirts and collecting charitable donations for the fight against breast cancer.
• Millersville has tallied 34 goals on 256 shots and has given up 29 goals on 262 shots. Matt Procopio's squad has been the least penalized team in the PSAC as the Marauders have only been shown two yellow cards.
• Halie Parker leads the team with 13 goals and 29 points. Parker has definitely made her case for earning post season in-conference accolades as her 29 points is the second best mark in the PSAC. Parker is also second in points per game (1.81), second in goals (13) and sixth in shot attempts (48). Midfielder Alexandrea Powell has scored a goal in three-straight matches and has four points on the season. Powell opened Millersville's scoring in the 3-2 loss to Mansfield as the junior ripped a shot from 18-yards out over the keeper's outstretched hands.

THE LAST MEETING (MILLERSVILLE 1, MERCYHURST 0) - OCT. 4, 2014)
• Last season, the Marauders came out of the gates firing shots from all over the field, and it proved to be a successful tactic as they beat Mercyhurst, 1-0. The Black & Gold outshot the Lakers 23-10 with Millersville also held a 9-2 advantage in corner kicks. Mercyhurst fired two quick shots on goal to begin the match and forced a corner kick opportunity all within the first five minutes of play. Millersville slowly adjusted into the game, and began to control the possession and pace deep into their attacking third. In the 47th minute, Hannah Willett fired a laser that beat the keeper, but it struck the post and was cleared from the 18-yard box. The Marauders finally broke through at the 59:53 mark thanks to the foot of Alexandrea Powell. The Ville played strong defense for the remainder of the match persevering the 1-0 victory as it only allowed one more Laker shot past the 59th minute.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• The Lakers feature a three scorers who have recorded 10 or more points on the season. Kristina Roberti leads the team with seven goals followed by Lauren Testa who has netted five goals and dished out four assists. Nicole McAplin is third on the team with 10 points on four goals and two assists. Testa in the midst of her senior season is a two-time All-PSAC Third Team member.
• Mercyhurst sent out it's seniors on a high note in its final home match of the season, knocking off Lake Erie College, 4-1. Mercyhurst received goals from Carly Zimmerman, Kristina Roberti, Lauren Testa and Allie Cornacchia. Kristen Koch and Ellie McDougall have split time in goal for the Lakers as Koch has appeared in 11 games and owns a 1.49 goals against average, while McDougall has started seven games and recorded 36 saves along the way to a team best two shutouts.
