LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) women's soccer coaches have released their annual preseason polls, ranking Millersville No. 6 in the PSAC Eastern Division.
The 2025 preseason poll mirrors the final 2024 PSAC Eastern Division standings. Millersville placed sixth in the division last season with a 5-6-5 record, finishing just six points shy of a playoff berth. Shepherd earned the top spot in this year's poll, receiving seven first-place votes. The Rams enter the season looking to defend their crown after capturing the 2024 PSAC Tournament title.
The Marauders return a strong offensive core led by senior Isabel Coy and junior Aubrey Strohecker. Coy, an All-PSAC East Second Team selection, paced the team with seven goals in 2024, while Strohecker followed closely with six. Millersville also brings back junior Melanie Love, who led the team with 1,530 minutes played across 17 games, and sophomore Lia Francis, who made an immediate impact as a freshman by scoring six goals and earning a selection to the All-PSAC East Second Team.
In the Western Division, Gannon claimed the top spot in the 2025 preseason poll, earning seven first-place votes after finishing first in last year's standings.
Millersville opens the 2025 campaign with a non-conference matchup at Saint Michael's College on Thursday, Sep. 4.
