West Chester, Pa. - No. 10 West Chester handed Millersville a 62-7 defeat Saturday night under the lights at John A. Farrell Stadium.
West Chester (4-0, 2-0 PSAC) scored touchdowns on its first three offensive possessions and built a 34-0 hafltime lead. Quarterback Sean McCartney completed 18-of-25 passes for 307 yards and three touchdowns. West Chester threw for 338 yards and rushed for 207 more, out-gaining the Marauders by a 608-258 margin.
Myron Myles led Millersville with 58 yards rushing on 17 carries.
Evander Barkley added 46 yards on six carries, including a long of 35. Quarterback
Matt Misley threw a touchdown pass to freshman
Kevin Wiggins in the third quarter for Millersville's lone score. It was the third touchdown catch of the season for Wiggins and the seventh touchdown scored by a true freshman. Misley has also thrown at least one touchdown passes in each of the first four games.
Millersville's touchdown drive came on its first possession of the third quarter. The drive covered 2:43 and 70 yards.
Millersville hosts Kutztown on Oct. 4 at 4 p.m.
