GAME NOTES
· Millersville's No. 5 seed in the PSAC Tournament is already set heading into Wednesday's regular season finale at Shippensburg. Millersville, however, still has something to play for as it can finish above .500 at 13-12 overall and 9-7 in the PSAC East with a win. The Marauders are just 2-10 on the road this season and 3-10 inside Heiges Field House under Coach Fred Thompson. Millersville has had Ship's number recently, though, winning two of the last three at Shippensburg, seven of the last 10 overall, four in a row and five of the last six. Millersville has finished with at least 13 wins in nine of Thompson's previous 15 seasons.

· Considering the fluctuation in personnel, it is remarkable that Millersville is at .500 with one game remaining. Seventeen different players have logged minutes and only  four have played in all 24 games. No player has more than 18 starts. Anthony Coleman, who averaged over 13 points per game last season, has been limited to 13 games because of injuries. Tavon Parker was the team's leading scorer and Xavier Mumford was the team's leading rebounder and shot blocker when they were lost for the season. Kelvin Parker, who is now averaging 18.2 points per game, missed the first 12 games of the season and played only two with his brother. Carl Wallace, who now leads the team in assist average and has led the team in rebounding four times and steals three times, joined the team seven games into the season. Millersville had what could be consider a complete lineup in only three games in mid-January and went 2-1 in that stretch with the one loss being by one point on the road.

· Millersville has scored 86-plus points seven times this season and is 9-2 when scoring at least 77 points. And while the team ranks fourth in the PSAC in scoring average, its performance on defense is more important than its offensive results. The Marauders are 2-7 when allowing teams to score 80 or more points and just 1-6 when allowing teams to shoot 50 percent from the field.

· Senior Brandon Brown has become Millersville's iron horse with 57 consecutive games played. Kyle Richardson is second with 34 consecutive games played. He is the only player on the roster to play in every game for the last two seasons and the his last DNP came on Feb. 15, 2012. That consistency shows up in the box score as he has scored at least seven points in 19 games this season.

· If Millersville is to have  a strong finish to the season, it needs Kelvin Parker to score. Parker scored 10 points on Saturday against Lock Haven, marking the second lowest point total of his Marauder career. It was just the second game in which he did not make a 3-pointer. Millersville is 4-2 when Parker scores at least 20 points and  5-1 when he hits at least 45 percent of his shots from the field.

ABOUT SHIPPENSBURG
· Shippensburg has experienced some growing pains during its first season with Chris Fite at the helm. Shippensburg has lost 14 consecutive games and has not won since beating California (Pa.) at home on Jan. 3. The team's last two losses, however, have been by a total of 10 points. Shippensburg averages 65.6 points per game while allowing 76.9. The -11.3 scoring margin is last in the PSAC. Joe Lococo ranks among the top scorers in the PSAC at 20.1 points per game, which is good for fourth. Abe Massaley is among the top scoring freshmen in the PSAC at 13.2 points per game.
