
F&M Downs Marauders to Hang on to Rupp Cup

Lancaster, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall took the Battle for the Rupp Cup for a fourth consecutive year with Friday's 41-3 win over Millersville.
Millersville closed its regular season dual record at 4-8 while F&M improved to 7-6. While F&M has won four consecutive meetings, Millersville holds a 16-7 lead in the all-time series.
Shane Gilmore, wrestling at 184 pounds, provided Millersville with its lone victory. He scored a 10-5 decision at 184 pounds, ending a string of seven wins by the Diplomats. F&M earned bonus points in each of the first five matches and in six of its nine wins.
Millersville sends its lineup to Johnstown, Pa. on March 1 for the NCAA Super Region 1 Championships. The top four in each weight class qualify for the NCAA Division II Championships.
