GAME NOTES
· Millersville is entering the stretch run of the season with four games remaining, and the schedule is favorable with two of the four games at home where the Marauders are 9-1 this season, and three of the four games are against teams with sub-.500 records. Millersville and Kutztown are currently deadlocked in the PSAC East standings with 6-6 records, making this game ultra-important for both teams. Millersville own the first meeting back in January, so a win on Saturday would clinch the head-to-head tiebreaker with the Golden Bears. The Marauders can also clinch their second consecutive playoff berth with a win and a West Chester win or Lock Haven loss. Millersville can still push its way into a home playoff game as it trails Lock Haven by just one game in the standings.

· A win on Saturday would also give Fred Thompson a milestone victory. The 16th-year head coach is just one win shy of his 250th win at Millersville. With a 249-194 (.562) record at Millersville, Thompson ranks third all-time in wins behind only 26-year coach Richard DeHart and John Kochan, who went 285-96 from 1983-96. Thompson owns a better winning percentage than DeHart, who was four games over .500 in his career. He has four 20-win seasons and two PSAC Championships. Kochan posted six 20-win seasons and three PSAC titles. Thompson has more wins than any other active coach in the PSAC East and only California's Bill Brown (341 in 18 seasons) and Mercyhurst's Gary Manchel (308 in 20 seasons has more among active PSAC coaches.

· Kelvin Parker scored 16 of Millersville's final 18 points and 20 in the second half against Mansfield for a career-high 28 points. He scored 20 or more five times in nine games as a Marauder, and hit for 20 or more four times in the last five games. Parker averaged 22.4 points on 50 percent shooting from the field, 47.6 percent shooting from three and 80 percent shooting from the line in the last five games. His 112 points are the most by a Marauder in a five-game stretch since Reggie Bates dropped 134 from Dec. 1-Jan. 2 in 2007-08.

· Millersville's 211 3-point field goals made and 10.0 made per game rank 12th in Division II and first in the PSAC. The Marauders rank 11th in Division II in 3-pointers attempted with 573. The team has already set a school record for threes made in a game this season and needs just six more makes to set a record that has stood since 2000-01. The school record for attempts was also set in 2000-01 at 629.

· Millersville has now won four in a row over Kutztown, marking the first four-game winning streak over the Golden Bears since winning nine in a row from 1998-2003. Each of the last three games have been decided by single digits and two of the last three have gone into overtime.

ABOUT KUTZTOWN
· Kutztown is playing its best basketball of the season having won two consecutive road games (West Chester and Cheyney) and four of the last six games. The two losses in that stretch were by two points to Mansfield and eight points to nationally-ranked East Stroudsburg. Despite being six games under .500, seemingly every game Kutztown has played has gone down to the wire. Nine of the last 10 games have been decided by no more than eight points. Ryan Connolly made a game-winning 3-pointer in the final minute to beat Cheyney on Feb. 12. Along with his game-winning three, Connolly has scored in double figures in four of the last six games.
