GAME OVERVIEW
• Millersville hosts a back-to-back with PSAC West foes Gannon and Clarion after a two-week layoff over the Holidays. The last time the Marauders took to the floor, they snapped Mercyhurst's seven-game winning streak by shooting a season-best 57.1 percent from the floor and 9-of-14 from three. Gannon rolls into Pucillo on a six-game winning streak and a perfect league record. Clarion visits Cheyney before coming to Pucillo on Sunday.

• The Marauders have proven to be a tough team to beat at home, posting a 4-1 record with the one loss coming on a buzzer-beater against Bowie State. The team's home/road splits are staggering. At home, the team is averaging 78.0 points per game on 43.4 percent shooting, 38.1 percent shooting from three and 82.9 percent shooting from the line. The Marauders are also plus-1.8 in rebounding at home. Away from Pucillo, the Marauders are 1-6, averaging 63.0 points, 37.3 percent shooting, 27.5 percent from three and 67.3 percent from the line. No player enjoys the home court advantage more than Kelvin Parker. He is shooting 50 percent from the field, 53.3 percent from three and 6-for-6 from the line at home but 35.3 percent from the field, 28.3 percent from three and 77.8 percent from the line on the road.

• To make a run in the PSAC, the Marauders must improve their rebounding. The Marauders have outrebounded their opponents only three times but are 3-0 in those games and are 2-0 when grabbing 40-plus rebounds.  Millersville's 32.1 rebounds per game rank 15th in the PSAC and its -7.6 rebounding margin ranks 17th. Eddie Callender is the team's top rebounder and ranks 16th in the PSAC.

• Millersville has taken advantage of freebies, ranking third in the PSAC in free throw shooting at 74.2 percent. The Marauders average 18 made free throws per game, ranking second only to West Chester's 19. Sam Light ranks third in the leagueat 86.2 percent, and Tyree Smith and Kelvin Parker also rank in the top 10. Millersville is the only team with five ranked in the top 34 (minimum 2.5 per game).

• The Marauders received a lift when Tavon Parker returned to the team against Mercyhurst. He made an immediate impact, scoring 10 pointswith two steals and two assists. Parker was averaging 13.4 points per game when his season ended on Jan. 18, 2014. He's now scored double figures in seven consecutive games and in 12 of 16 career games. Incredibly, Tavon and Kelvin have been in the lineup together for a total of four games over the last two seasons. Millersville is 3-1 in those games with the Parkers combining for 28.5 points per game.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
• Under John Reilly, Gannon consistently ranks among the stingiest defensive teams in the nation, and 2014-15 is no different. The Golden Knights rank first in the PSAC in scoring defense at 56.3 points per game. Gannon is holding teams to 39.9 percent shooting, which is third in the league. Gannon is a tough match-up for Millersville as it consistently dominates the glass, ranking second in the PSAC with a plus-11.6 rebounding margin. Gannon opened the season 2-3 but has since won six of seven including overtime games against IUP and East Stroudsburg. Gannon has held 10 opponents under 60 points. East Stroudsburg scored a high of 79 and needed two overtimes to get there. Senior Adam Blazek was PSAC West Player of the Year in 2013-14 and was preseason honorable mention All-America this season.  He is three steals shy of setting a school record.

• Clarion is under the direction of first-year head coach Marcess Williams following the retirement of longtime coach Ron Righter in the offseason. The Golden Eagles are 0-3 in road games and 1-4 away from its home gym. Clarion has had its issues on defense, allowing 75.0 points per game, which ranks 14th in the league. Clarion also ranks 15th in shooting percentage and 15th in field goal percentage defense. The Golden Eagles haven't been a threat from long range, hitting just 27.7 percent from three and ranking 17th in the PSAC. The team's free throw percentage also ranks 17th.  Leading scorer Darius Stevens ranks 21st in the PSAC in scoring and also ranks 13th in rebounding.  The series with Millersville and Clarion has been closely contested with Millersville holding a 9-8 edge. Clarion has visited Pucillo Gymnasium just five times ever (four times since 2004). Millersville is 4-1 in those games. Clarion won the 2012 match-up, 77-71.
