Men's Tennis Dropped by Golden Rams

Millersville, Pa. - Saturday at the McComsey Tennis Courts the men's tennis team could only manage to take two sets against West Chester, winding up on the wrong side of a 7-2 score.

Both of the team's wins came courtesy of Jody Sambrick Jr. Sambrick won his singles matchup with Connor Dunn by scores of 6-4, 6-1. Then, in doubles play, Sambrick teamed up with Niko Mucci and the pairing routed Chaz Irwin and Patrick McGinely by a final of 8-2. The only other player to take a set in singles play was Dylan Ryan, who dropped his matchup to Lars Kristiansen by scores of 4-6, 6-2, 6-0.

The loss drops the Marauders to 3-9 on the season, while the Golden Rams improve to 7-8. Millersville's next match is slated for Monday. The team is at home against Chestnut Hill, beginning at 2 p.m.
