GAME NOTES
· Millersville has made a habit of bucking recent trends this season. While the Marauders haven't won at Bloomsburg since Jan. 16, 2008, they previously ended an eight-game losing streak to Mansfield, won for the first time in five tries at West Chester, won at Shippensburg for the second time in nine games, clinched its first home playoff game since 2007 and its first winning season since 2007-08. The Marauders are 5-3 on the road and 5-2 against conference foes on the road. The only losses came against nationally-ranked foes Indiana (Pa.) and East Stroudsburg. The Marauders are locked in a battle with West Chester for the No. 2 seed from the PSAC East and can still catch ESU, but it will need to break another recent trend of struggling through February. Over the previous four seasons, Millersville went 11-21 in the month and was just 3-13 in the final four games of each season. Millersville has certainly taken care of business, though, going 12-1 with 12 consecutive wins against teams with sub-.500 records.
· Xavier Mumford and Elijah Obade give the Marauders to of the best offensive rebounders in the PSAC, and second chance points are vital to the team's success. Millersville is 13-3 and 10-1 against the PSAC when totaling more second chance points. Mumford and Obade together account for 51 percent of Millersville's offensive rebounds. 43 percent of Mumford's rebounds are on the offensive glass. Of PSAC players with at least 30 rebounds, Mumford's offensive rebound percentage is second behind only Clarion's Mike Kromka.
· Anthony Coleman is emerging into the Marauders' go-to scorer. He's scored double figures in seven of his last nine games. The Marauders are 8-2 this season when Coleman scores at least 10 points. He's been especially outstanding against the PSAC, averaging 15.0 points and 3.2 assists while shooting 48.7 percent from the field in the seven games. Coleman is shooting 53.2 percent from the field in road games, and that mirrors the Marauders' offensive production. They are shooting 45.3 percent from the field as a team on the road while shooting 39.8 percent at home.
· Elijah Obade totaled 37 rebounds in the last three games, keeping him tied for the Division II lead (11.7) with Dominykas Milka of Saint Rose. He also leads the PSAC in blocked shots with 50, moving him within 13 of the Millersville record of 63 owned by Antwine Moore (1995-96). Only six players in Millersville history have averaged more than 2.0 blocks per game. Obade was one of them last season. No player has accomplished the feat in back-to-back seasons. If Obade maintains his 11.7 rebounding average, it would be the highest by a Marauder since 1970. Obade also ranks 11th in Division II in blocks and is tied for seventh in double-doubles.
· Stingy defense is Millersville's calling card. The Marauders are the best defensive team in the PSAC East, rank third in the PSAC and 19th in Division II, allowing 61.8 points per game. 18 of the last 19 opponents have been held to fewer than 70 points.

ABOUT BLOOMSBURG
· Bloomsburg enters Wednesday's game on three-game losing streak, but it has played much better basketball of late. The Huskies have earned three of their five wins since Jan. 11 and its last three losses, which include losses to PSAC East frontrunners West Chester and East Stroudsburg, have been by fewer than nine points. Sophomore Zach Sheetz, who played his high school ball at nearby Hempfield, has emerged as a scorer for the Huskies since debuting on Dec. 1. He's scored double figures in six of the last nine games including 27 against West Chester. The Marauders will need to keep tabs on him as he has hit 45.6 percent of his threes. 31 of his 35 field goals have been threes. The Marauders also know how dangerous Dontahe Jordan can be. In five meetings, Jordan has averaged 19.2 points and 9.2 rebounds.
