GAME NOTES
· Millersville has lost back-to-back games for the first time since the start of the season and it has not lost three in a row all season. The Marauders are locked in as no worse than the East's No. 3 seed in the PSAC Tournament, which guarantees them a first round home game. But the No. 2 seed would land a first round bye and a home game. They have to make up two games on West Chester with five to play. The final five games includes three on the road. Cheyney and a visit to Cope Hall is always a challenge. Six of the last 10 and 17 of the 31 games played against Cheyney during Fred Thompson's 15 seasons have been decided by single digits. Three of the last four and five of the last seven played inside Cope Hall have been decided by fewer than seven points. The Marauders are 8-6 inside Cope under Thompson's direction.

· The Marauders must play solid defensively to win. After holding 15 consecutive opponents to fewer than 70 points, the Marauders have allowed an average of 89.5 points in the last two losses. The Marauders are 1-4 when opponents score more than 70 but 9-0 when opponents score fewer than 60.

· Larry Grant's role has changed often. He went from the starting point guard, to shooting guard and to sixth man. With the loss of Kemar Williams, Grant has returned to the starting lineup and in his first game back, he shot 5-of-10 and scored a team-high 16 points.  Grant has scored in double figures 12 times this season, but oddly, the team is 7-5 in those games in which he averages 20 points and shoots 46 percent from the field. The team is  8-3 in games that he fails to score double figures. He is averaging just 7.5 points and shooting 19 percent from the field (22-116).

· Grant's most important role is that of distributor and caretaker.  When he the same amount or more assists than turnovers in a game, the Marauders are 10-4. In the 12 games that he has three or more assists, the Marauders are 9-3. He leads the team in scoring and assists and can become the first player since assists starting being tracked in 1962-63 to lead the team in scoring and assists in back-to-back seasons. Including Grant, only 10 players in the last 50 seasons have led the team in scoring and assists in one season.

· Elijah Obade is now locked in a three-way tie for the Division II lead in rebounding at 11.6 boards per game. Obade still owns the PSAC lead in rebounding and blocked shots. After swatting five shots against West Chester, Obade is just three blocks shy of Antwine Moore's school record of 63.  Obade also leads the PSAC in double-doubles with 11, and that total surpasses Touchi Udeinya (10 in 2001-02 and 2002-03) for the most single-season double-doubles in Fred Thompson's 15 seasons. Edinboro's Ryan McLemore in 2007-08 was the last player to lead the league in blocks and rebounds in the same season. Obade's 11.6 average would be the highest by a PSAC player since 2004-05 and the highest by a Maraudder since 1970.

ABOUT CHEYNEY
· Cheyney has lost three of four and two in a row, but the Wolves are a pesky team at 7-10 in league play, and if it weren't ineligible for the postseason, it would be nicely positioned as the No. 4 seed from the East. Cheyney had won four of five until losing at East Stroudsburg 83-72 and then lost its most lopsided game game of the season at Bloomsburg, 80-64. The Wolves have won three in a run inside Cope Hall. Cheyney has four players averaging double figures. Jason Saab, at 17.9 points per game, ranks sixth in the PSAC. Saab, however, struggled in the first meeting this season, he was held to seven points on 2-of-12 shooting with six turnovers. The Wolves are a streaky shooting team. It's shot over 49 percent as a team seven times, posting a 6-1 record in those games. Millersville held the Wolves to a season-low 29.7 percent shooting and a season-low 48 points in the first game.
