GAME NOTES
· Millersville, 4-3 on the road his season, travels to Shippensburg for a PSAC East meeting on Wednesday. The Marauders are just 1-7 in Heiges Fieldhouse under Coach Fred Thompson. Oddly, Millersville is a significantly better offensive team on the road, averaging 71.4 points and shooting 45.6 percent from the field compared to 64.6 points and 39.4 percent shooting at home. Larry Grant averages 17.6 on the road (11.9 at home) and his shootng percentage jumps from .317 to .412. Anthony Coleman shoots 50 percent on the road but .337 at home.
· Larry Grant's 30 points (26 in the final 22 minutes of play) against Kutztown, gave him three 30-point games on the season. That's the most by a Marauder since Reggie Bates totaled four in 2007-08. No Marauder has produced four 30-point games in the same season since Jon Dunmeyer in 1992-93. Grant, averaging 14.7 points and 2.9 assists per game, is on pace to be the first player in school history to lead the team in scoring and assists in back-to-back seasons. Few players account for more of his team's offense than Grant. When combining total points and assists, only four players in the PSAC (Wali Hepburn, LHU; Micah Fraction, Kutztown; Whis Grant, ESU; Isaiah Prince, Edinboro) rank higher than Grant's 335.
· Elijah Obade pulled down 17 rebounds against Kutztown, giving him 11 double-digit rebounding performances this season and 26 in his last 39 games dating back to last season. Obade has totaled 45 more rebounds than any other player in the PSAC and is now tied with Dominykas Milka of Saint Rose for the Division II lead at 11.9 per game. Obade also ranks eighth nationally in blocks (2.4) and ninth in double-doubles (9).  No other player in the nation ranks in the top 10 in both blocks and rebounds. Obade is 17 blocks shy of the Millersville record owned by Antwine Moore (1995-96). With nine regular season games remaining, he needs to average 1.9 per game to break the record before the postseason. Only six players in Millersville history have averaged more than 2.0 blocks per game. Obade was one of them last season. No player has accomplished the feat in back-to-back seasons. If Obade maintains his 11.9 rebounding average, it would be the highest by a Marauder since 1970.
· Millersville has attempted the third-most 3-pointers of any team in the PSAC (368) and average 19.4 per game, which is on pace to be the most attempted by a Marauder team since the 2000-01 club set the school record with more than 24 attempts per game. This year's team, however, ranks last in the PSAC in 3-point percentage at .274. Larry Grant and Brandon Brown's success from three is key. In wins, Grant shoots .328 compared to .282 in losses. Brown's ratio is even more drastic, hitting .373 in wins but is 1-of-16 (.063) in losses.
· Millersville holds a commanding 111-62 lead in the all-time series, but Shippensburg has given the Marauders trouble in recent years. Shippensburg has won 12 of the last 18 meetings dating back to 2001, and since joining the PSAC East in 2008-09, Shippensburg is 5-3 overall and 3-1 in Heiges Fieldhouse against the Marauders. Each of the last six meetings have been decided by no more than 11 points. The teams have split the two meetings in each of the last three seasons.

ABOUT SHIPPENSBURG
· After registering back-to-back PSAC East wins over Bloomsburg and Mansfield, Shippensburg has since lost two consecutive games by an average of 30 points. East Stroudsburg handed the Red Raiders a 99-56 loss on Saturday. Ship started 2-1 but lost 10 in a row. Eight of the 13 losses have been by fewer than 10 points. Guard Reggie Charles has led the team in scoring in three of the last four games and ranks third in the PSAC in assists at 4.4 per game. Charles, however, has a penchant for turnovers, totaling 92 for an average of 5.4 per game. The 6-10 Dylan Edgar should challenge Elijah Obade. He averages 13.0 points and 7.1 boards per game while shooting an efficient 59.8 percent. Freshman Joe Lococo should be in the running for PSAC East Freshman of the Year. He leads Ship in scoring (13.5) and is especially dangerous from three, hitting 35.1 percent. He's led the team in scoring seven times.
