GAME NOTES
· What a difference a year makes for Millersville basketball. Last season, the Marauders lost to East Stroudsburg at home to fall to 3-8 in the PSAC. This season, the Marauders are 8-3 in the PSAC and 12-5 overalll, tied for second in the PSAC East and face the division's front-running team with a chance to close the gap for first place. Millersville is 4-2 on the road this season after totaling just four road wins (4-22) over the previous two seasons. The Marauder defense continues to play well, ranking third in the PSAC in scoring (60.7) and ranking first in 3-point field goal percentage defense (.283).

· Millersville has been led in scoring by six different players of the last eight games. Larry Grant led the team in scoring in five of the first seven, but since scoring 52 points in back-to-back games against Lock Haven and Clarion, Grant has hit for double figures just three times of a 10-game stretch. He made 36.5 percent of his threes over the first 11 games but is just 3-for-21 over the last six.  During that same stretch, however, he's been outstanding from the line, sinking 30-of-37 free throws. Stepping into the role of dominant scorer for the Marauders has been Anthony Coleman. Coleman scored double figures just three times in 12 games while shooting 29-of-88 (.329) but has since averaged 14.8 points on 52.0 percent shooting.
· Brandon Brown received his third career start Saturday at West Chester and turned in 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting, 4-of-5 shooting from the line. He's scored 11 points in each of his last two games and in his three starts, he's scored double figures twice. After a slow start to the season, Brown has hit 36.3 percent of his threes since his 19-point outburst at Lock Haven on Dec. 1.
· Elijah Obade continues to lead Division II in rebounding, but his margin of advantage is slipping. Now averaging 11.9 per game, he narrowly leads Dominykas Mika of Saint Rose (11.7) and Devin Taylor of Slippery Rock (11.3). Since grabbing 11 boards at California, Obade has averaged just 6.7 over the last three games. Obade grabbed at least three offensive rebounds in eaach of the first nine games but has only had more than two offensive boards twice in the last eight games. Obade also has only three blocks in the last four games after averaging 3.0 per game over the first 13 games. Obade has not fouled out of a game this year but has been in foul trouble lately, picking up for fouls in five of the last seven games.
· Until the last four seasons, Millersville dominated the series with East Stroudsburg. But since 2008-09, the the Marauders have won just twice and ESU has won seven of the last 10. Millersville's last win in Kohler Fieldhouse came in double overtime by an 81-79 score in 2009. Millersville is 1-7 at Kohler since 2004. Last season, the Marauders lost by 11 and 12 points. Whis Grant averaged 18 points, 4.5 assists to just 1.5 turnovers in two games last season.
