Millersville, Pa. - Preetham Moras and Jody Sambrick Jr. combined for three points Monday against Shepherd, but it wasn't enough as Shepherd edged Millersville 5-4 at McComsey Tennis Courts. 

Moras improved to 7-3 at No. 1 singles with a 6-4, 6-5 win over Chris Pratt. Sambrick boosted his freshman season mark to 6-4 with a 6-2, 7-6 victory at No. 3 singles. 

The Moras/Sambrick duo, which is now 5-5 at No. 1 doubles, topped Pratt and Taylor Boyle by an 8-4 score. Millersville's other point came from the No. 2 doubles team of Henry Ben and Tyler Lied. The tandem scored a 9-8 win. 

Millersville falls to 1-9 with the loss. It hosts Edinboro on April 13 at 11 a.m.
