Philadelphia. - The Millersville women's tennis team closed its regular season schedule in grand style Sunday, sweeping University of the Sciences on its home court by a 9-0 score.
The win serves as a tune-up for the women's team, which travels to Kutztown Tuesday for its first PSAC Tournament appearance since 2007. Millersville improved to 7-11 overall with the win.
The Marauders dominated USP in doubles action, not dropping a single game and winning each match by an 8-0 score. The singles matches were equally one-sided. Each Marauder won in straight-sets.
Elizabeth Wagner (No. 4) and Anna Agayeva (No. 5) both blanked their opponents by 8-0 scores.
Tuesday's match at Kutztown begins at 3:30 p.m.
