Women's Tennis Falls Out of Contention

West Chester, Pa. - Tuesday's women's tennis match between Millersville and West Chester set the PSAC East representatives for the PSAC Team Championship. Millersville, however, will be staying home. West Chester clinched its spot with a 6-3 win.

The Marauders dropped to 5-8 overall and 2-3 in the league. They needed a win to stay in the postseason mix but was eliminated because West Chester won its fourth match.

Millersville managed just one point in doubles. The No. 2 team of Shauna Powers and Kaeley McCabe defeated Ali Fetter and Tara Krauss, 8-3.

McCabe also notched a singles victory at the No. 3 flight. She defeated Fetter, 6-3, 6-4. Elizabeth Wagner boosted her season record to 6-1 with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles.

Millersville closes out its season tomorrow at Shippensburg.
