ABOUT THE GAME
· For the last month, Millersville has seemingly played must-win game after must-win game, and Saturday's road game at West Chester is no different. With Wednesday's 76-69 win over East Stroudsburg, the Marauders pulled into a three-way tie with ESU and Cheyney for the fourth and final playoff spot from the PSAC East. West Chester is not mathematically eliminated, but with a 4-7 league record, it likely needs to win its remaining four games to have a shot.
· The home team has won the last five games in the series. Hollinger Field House has been a house of horrors for the Marauders over the last two years. In 2008-09, Millersville lost 93-67, shooting 35.7 percent from the field and was out-rebounded 45-29. Last year was even worse. Millersville fell 58-38 after shooting 22.9 percent from the field. The Marauders were out-rebounded 44-34. Mike Seibert is the only Marauder on the roster to have played in both of those games. He's shot just 3-of-17 at Hollinger in his career. Millersville's last win at Hollinger was a 67-37 rout in 2008.
· Bernard Brown knows his Millersville career is winding down and he's playing like every game is his last. He's scored in double figures in four-straight and is averaging 15.5 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks per game during that span. Over that same stretch, he's hitting an incredible 67.6 percent of his shots. With 49 blocked shots this year, Brown now ranks fourth in Millersville history despite playing on three full seasons. He needs only one more this year to be just the first player in school history with two 50-block seasons, and one more will tie him with former PSAC East Player of the Year Jamal Palmer for third-most all-time.
· The way Mike Holley has played this year, it's easy to forget he's a freshman. The guard is having one of the best freshman seasons in school history. His 95 assists ranks third in the PSAC and is the second-most ever by a Marauder freshman. The only mark better was Andrew Marshall's 126 in 1983-84. Holley also ranks fourth in steals at 1.9 per game and is on pace to total 50, which would put him four shy of Charlie Parker's freshman record of 54. Holley is averaging 11.6 points per game and is on pace to be the first Millersville freshman since Parker to average double figures for a season.
· For Millersville, winning on the road is all about rebounding and defense. At home, Millersville is holding opponents to 39.9 percent shooting but is allowing 47.5 percent shooting on the road. On the glass, the Marauders average 40.7 boards at home but just 33.4 on the road. Demond Vance needs to play at a high level, as well. In Millersville's 10 wins, Vance averaged 15.3 points on 46.3 percent shooting but is averaging 10.4 points on 39.3 percent shooting in the 12 losses.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
· West Chester picked up an important PSAC East win over Shippensburg Wednesday by a 66-58 score. Behind 18 points from Lance McDowell, West Chester shot 42.1 percent from the field and despite shooting 2-of-11 from three, it managed to pull off the win. West chester held Shippensburg to 41.7 percent shooting including 4-of-14 from 3-point range.
· In the first meeting between Millersville and West Chester this season, the Marauders were sparked by Mike Seibert's 6-of-9 shooting from three (24 points) and Bernard Brown's 12 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and eight blocked shots. Millersville led by 20 at one point in the second half, but West Chester used a full court press to close the gap to 74-67 with 2:12 to go. Millersville, however, sank 15-of-19 free throws to pull away. West Chester hurt Millersville on the glass, totaling 29 second-chance points on 24 offensive rebounds.
· The home team has won the last five meetings in the series, and Millersville and West Chester are very similar clubs. Both are solid at home and struggle on the road. Millersville is 9-3 at home and West Chester is 11-3. On the road, however, Millersville is 3-7 and West Chester is 2-7. The Golden Rams have lost seven of the last 10. Their last three losses have all been by fewer than seven points.
· The Golden Rams rank fourth in the PSAC in scoring defense, allowing 67.0 points per game. They also rank fourth in field goal percentage defense, allowing teams to hit just 41.6 percent of its shots. Opponents also struggle from long range against West Chester, hitting 31.9 percent.
