ABOUT THE GAME
· Millersville's trend of two wins followed by two losses continued last week. The Marauders entered the week on a two-game winning streak, but for the fifth time this year, they were denied a three-game winning streak after dropping road games to Cheyney and Mansfield. Millersville desperately needs a win Wednesday against visiting East Stroudsburg if it wants to stay in the PSAC Tournament race. Currently, the Marauders sit one game behind East Stroudsburg and Cheyney for the fourth spot. An ESU win today would give the Warriors the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Marauders. A win by the Marauders and a Cheyney loss at Kutztown, however, would put Millersville in prime position with three games remaining.
· East Stroudsburg has won the last three games in the series and Millersville has not beaten the Warriors in Pucillo Gymnasium since 2007-08. In the last three games, Millersville has failed to shoot better than 41 percent from the field. Mike Seibert has not fared well against the Warriors, shooting 7-of-37 in his five career games against them. Millersville is a perfect 7-0 overall and 3-0 in the PSAC East when shooting a higher percentage that its opponent.
· Bernard Brown turned in a career week last week, posting back-to-back double-doubles. Against Cheyney, he totaled career highs in both points (18) and rebounds (15) and also swatted four shots. Against Mansfield, Brown totaled 17 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. He shot 14-of-21 from the field and made 7-of-8 free throws. With 43 blocked shots this year, Brown now ranks fourth in Millersville history despite playing on three seasons. He needs only seven more this year to be just the first player in school history with two 50-block seasons.
· Mike Seibert leads the Marauders with 46 3-pointers this year, making him the first player since Greg Testa in 2005-06 and 2006-07 to sink more than 40 3-pointers in back-to-back seasons. He ranks fifth in the PSAC in 3-pointers made. Seibert is 132-of-159 (.830) at the free throw line in his career. He is on pace to break Lance Gelnett's career free throw percentage record of 82.0 percent. So far this year, Seibert ranks sixth in the PSAC with an 82.5 percentage.
· In Millersville's last two losses, three of its top scorers--Demond Vance, Mike Seibert and James Miller--have not produced at the offensive end. Since scoring 33 points and winning PSAC East Athlete of the Week, Vance has totaled nine points and zero rebounds, shot 4-of-18 from the field and has not shot a single free throw. Seibert scored 24 in Millersville's last win but is averaging 8.0 points per game in the last two, shooting 4-of-13 from the field. Miller, who is shooting better than 50 percent from the field this season, hit just 6-of-20 in the last two games.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
· In the first meeting of the season on Jan. 30, Millersville trailed by as many as 19 points in the first half but returned fire and even took a momentary second-half lead. The comeback ultimately fell short as homestanding East Stroudsburg used timely scoring in the final minutes to preserve a 76-70 win. East Stroudsburg raced to a 9-0 lead and opened a 33-14 advantage with 9:52 remaining in the first period. The Marauders were sparked by Mike Seibert's 10 first half points and finished the final 6:26 on a 17-5 run. Millersville remained with striking distance, and with 10:06 to go in the game, Jim Kelleher came off the bench and drilled two-straight 3-pointers, giving Millersville its first lead at 57-56. The lead changed hands twice more before a Mike Tobin layup and Duane Johnson score put ESU up 63-59 with 6:38 to go. The Marauders pulled within one score three more times, but East Stroudsburg made its final three shots from the floor and converted 5-of-7 free throws in the final minutes to pull away.
· East Stroudsburg has not won back-to-back games since Jan. 15. Since defeating Millersville on Jan. 30, it is 2-2 with an overtime loss at Bloomsburg and single-digit wins over Cheyney and West Chester. The Warriors won a school record 24 games and reached the NCAA Tournament last year but is trying to stay above .500 and make the PSAC Tournament this year.
· East Stroudsburg boasts the second-best scoring offense in the conference (77.5). It scores a high number of points despite ranking ninth in field goal percentage, seventh in free throw percentage and fifth in 3-point field goal percentage. It offsets its shooting by taking the second-most shots in the league and grabbing more than 14 offensive rebounds per game. While ESU allows 44.8 percent shooting, it ranks first in blocked shots.
· East Stroudsburg uses a balanced scoring attack with five players averaging more than eight points per game. Duane Johnson leads the team at 12.5 points per game and is shooting 50.5 percent from the field. Will Brown and Micah Covert are both marksmen from deep, hitting will over 40 percent of their 3-point attempts.
