Box Score

Lock Haven, Pa. - Jaymes Miller scored a season high 21 points and Millersville led Lock haven start to finish in Friday's 66-43 road victory that notched the Marauders their first PSAC win of the season.

Miller led all scorers, and Elijah Obade, who totaled 11 points and 12 reobunds, registered his second double-double in the last three games to lead Millersville (3-6, 1-4 PSAC). The win halted a six-game slide for the Marauders.

Larry Grant opened the scoring for Millersville 36 seconds into the contest, and the Marauders held the lead the rest of the game. The Marauders led by as many as 18 in the first half and pushed the advantage to as many as 27 on an Obade layup with 3:47 to go in the game.

Millersville dominated the interior, outscoring Lock Haven 38-18 in the paint and holding 12-4 edge on second chance points.

A sluggish first half (12-of-31 shooting) on the offensive end was offset by a dominating defensive effort. Millersville held Lock Haven to 6-of-26 shooting in the first half and 30.8 percent in the game. Millersville shot 48.1 percent from the field.

Obade, who entered the game as the PSAC leader in blocked shots, blocked four more. Obade has totaled at least nine rebounds in each of the last five games and has averaged nearly 14 points per game.
