THE STARTING FIVE
(1) Millersville hopes to put an end to a two-game slide Wednesday at Wilmington. The Marauders are 1-0 on the road so far this season but is 28-51 over the last six-plus seasons. Millersville is also 2-0 against non-conference opponents this season and 10-13 over the last three seasons against non-PSAC opponents. Millersville has struggled in non-conference road games over the last three years, going 2-9.
(2) In Millersville's two wins, it averaged 81.5 points per game on 43.9 percent shooting from the field. In the losses, it averaged 65.5 points per game on 42.1 percent shooting. The biggest differences in the play of Millersville was in 3-point shooting. In the two wins, the Marauders shot 33.3 percent and allowed opponents to shoot 29.0 percent from three. In the losses, Millersville shot just 18.2 percent while allowing teams to shoot 51.5 percent. The Marauders also saw a huge drop off in assists (27 to 16) while committing just two more turnovers. Point guard C.J. Scott averaged 13.5 points and 3.5 assists in the two wins but 5.0 points and 2.0 assists in the losses.
(3) Millersville and Wilmington have met just nine times with the Marauders holding an 8-1 edge in the all-time series. Millersville won four in a row from 1969-1972 and averaged 100 points per game in those games. Wilmington's first win came by a 73-70 score in 1996 when Millersville was coached by Dave Springer (now the coach at Shippensburg). The last three meetings have gone to the Marauders. In 1997, Millersville won 74-69. Under Fred Thompson, the Marauders are 2-0 against Wilmington. The 2000 meeting went to Millersville by a score of 72-70. The Marauders rolled to a 113-74 win in 2006. The 2006 team went on to post a 28-5 record and reach the NCAA East Regional final.
(4) Sophomore Anthony Coleman has provided steady play for the Marauders off the bench.  Through four games, he's second on the team in scoring with 11.8 points per per game, second in rebounding at 5.0 per game and second in steals with six. He's also shooting an impressive 69.2 percent from the field and has hit 11-of-14 free throws. Despite coming off the bench, his 28 minutes per game is fourth among all players. In 2010-11, he scored in double figures just twice. He has scored in double figures three times already this season and has scored at least nine points in every game. He's made eight of his last 10 field goal attempts.
(5) Millersville has been out-rebounded in three of four games and was even (40-40) with Lincoln. Despite the -18 rebound margin, Millersville has had more points in the paint and more second chance points than its opponent in all four games.

THE WILDCATS
· Mike Gallagher is in his third season as the head coach at Wilmington. Prior to coaching the Wildcats, he was the head coach at Neumann College, going 21-29 in two seasons. He also served as the assistant coach at University of the Sciences for seven seasons. He has strong ties to the Philadelphia area, coaching at Bishop Eustace, Pope Paul VI, Archibishop Carroll and St. Joseph's Prep.
· The Wildcats opened the season with an 86-65 loss to Delaware State but quickly bounced back with a 75-74 win over PSAC member Kutztown on Nov. 15. Wednesday's game with Millersville is the team's first home game of the season. Kutztown led 65-57 with 8:29 to go, but a 18-6 run over the next six minutes put Wilmington in front 75-71 with two minutes to go. Wilmington was led by James Pee's 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting. He hit 5-of-5 from behind the 3-point line. The Wildcats shot 48.3 percent from the field and a red-hot 64.3 from long range, including 6-of-7 in the first half. Wilmington totaled 21 assists to 10 turnovers.
· Wilmington returns nine letterwinners and the top five scorers from last year's club. Pee is a newcomer to the team. The Wildcats were 8-18 overall and 6-11 in the CACC last season, and were picked to finish fifth in the six-team South Division in this year's preseason poll.
