NSCAA Top-25
NSCAA Atlantic Region Poll

Millersville, Pa. – The Millersville men's soccer team jumped back into the NSCAA top 25 this week after a 2-0 week with wins over University of District of Columbia and previous No. 9 California (Pa.) The NSCAA placed the Marauders at No. 13, their highest ranking of the season, after shutting out the ninth-ranked Vulcans on the road. The NSCAA also ranked Millersville No. 1 in its Atlantic Regional rankings.

The Marauders (9-4-1) entered the poll at No. 20 in week three of the season. They moved up to No. 14 in week four with a 5-1 record. Millersville was knocked out of the national rankings in week five after suffering a four-game winless streak.

Their highest ranking of the season comes after the Marauders upset previous No. 13 Mercyhurst (3-1) and No. 9 California (Pa.) (1-0) in a span of seven days. With those victories Millersville not only jumped both teams in the national rankings, but the Marauders now sit alone in first place in the PSAC with 18 points and two conference games remaining.

Millersville also moved up four spots in the NSCAA Regional rankings to take the top spot in the Atlantic Region. California (Pa.) dropped one spot to sit at No. 2, while Mercyhurst, who lost twice, fell five spots to No. 7.

The NCAA Regional rankings, which decide the NCAA Tournament field, will be released on Wednesday. The Marauders opened those rankings last week as the No. 3 after beating Mercyhurst. Millersville went on to beat California (Pa.) to collect wins over the top two teams in the region coming into week two.

Millersville is on the road today in a non-conference game against In-region foe Holy Family. The Marauders and Tigers kick off at 3:30 p.m. Live stats can be viewed by clicking here.
