Pittsburgh, Pa. - Junior Shane Smith registered three wins, but the Millersville wrestling team dropped three dual meets Sunday at the Pittsburgh Duals. No. 20 Pittsburgh topped the Marauders, 33-13. Millersville fell 42-6 to No. 21 Northwestern and to Davidson, 31-9.

Smith was a lone bright spot for the Marauders (0-5), posting a 3-0 record with a pair of pins. The 174-pounder pinned Davidson's Jorge Estrada in 2:05 and need just 37 seconds to drop Northwestern's Brian Roddy. Smith edged Pittsburgh's Adam Counterman by decision, 3-2.

157-pound Dakota Kuhn notched an 11-4 decision against Brent Mowery of Davidson. 165-pound Brandon Vernalli scored a 10-2 major decision over Pittsburgh's Kyle Flick.

The Marauders host the "Shorty" Hitchcock Memorial Classic on Sunday, January 16.
