Bloomsburg, Pa. - Junior
Mike Seibert buried a deep 3-pointer at the end of regulation to send Wednesday's PSAC Eastern Division opener with Bloomsburg to overtime. But Bloomsburg, using its best shooting performance of the season, escaped with a 91-87 win.
The road continued to be unkind to the Marauders (5-7, 0-1 PSAC East), who have now lost all six road games this year and have not won a road PSAC East game since the end of the 2008-09 season. The team started hot, running the lead to as many as 17 points with 9:50 left in the first half.
Bloomsburg (5-8, 1-0 PSAC East), however, outscored the Marauders 22-11 the rest of the first period, and Millersville led 38-31 at the break. The lead dwindled quickly. Bloomsburg opened the second on a 10-3 run and captured its first lead with 16:33 left on a free throw from Lorenzo Christmas, who had a career game of 25 points.

Elijah Obade, had no answer. Schwarz scored 11 of his 20 in the second period, and when the Marauders collapsed, Christmas made them pay with the three. He drilled 4-of-9 from deep.
The home team led by as many as eight, but Millersville kept the game close.
Demond Vance hit a three with 23 seconds to, pulling Millersville to 78-77. Bloom's Jesse Betar cashed two free throws to extend the lead. Millersville had one more chance, though, and Seibert nailed a deep, off-balance three with 3.5 seconds to go, forcing the game to OT tied at 80.
In overtime, Bloomsburg led by three until Seibert hit another triple with 1:54 to go. Trevon Johnson answered with a slashing hoop, giving Bloom an 89-87 lead. Millersville came up empty on its final two possessions, and Dontahe Jordan iced the game with two free throws.
The Huskies entered the game shooting 29.4 percent from the field but hit 7-of-14 against the Marauders. Millersville shot 43.9 percent in the game but hit just 2-of-9 shots in the overtime session. Seibert finished 18 points and scored 10 of them in 11 trips to the free throw line.
Mike Holley led the team with 19 and also hit 10 free throws. Vance, who has now scored in double figures in six-straight games, scored 18 and recorded four steals. Freshman
Jaymes Miller added 14 points before fouling out in overtime.
The Marauders return to Pucillo Gymnasium to host Mansfield on Saturday at 3 p.m. Millersville is 5-1 at home this year.
