Marauders Handle Harford

The Millersville men's tennis team remains undefeated Monday after handing non-conference opponent Harford an 8-1 defeat on the Fighting Owls' home court in Maryland. The Marauders improved to 3-0 on the year with the win.

Millersville swept Harford 6-0 in the singles matches. Drew Slocum won the number one seed over Jason Wright 7-5, 6-2, and Erik Wright won the second spot in three sets over Hunter McCauley 6-3, 4-6, 10-5.

Henry Ben glided past Corey Litke by scores of 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3, and Tyler Reppert earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Garrett Lang in the No. 4 spot. In the fifth spot Corey Garnier defeated Marc Donor 6-0, 6-3, and# Marty O'Hora# won by scores of 6-3, 6-2 over Walker Bazemore at No. 6.

Preetham Moras and Reppert teamed up for doubles and suffered the Marauders' only loss of the match by an 8-6 margin to Wright and McCauley. Donald Swantko and Ryan Knarr blanked Litke and Lang 8-0, and O'Hora and Lied defeated Donor and Brandon Upchurch 8-3.

Millersville returns to action at the Kutztown Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 9:30 a.m.
