Offense Shut Down as Marauders Fall to Clarion

Box Score

Millersville, Pa. – The Millersville women's soccer team couldn't come up with a goal for the second consecutive game, and it fell 1-0 at home against Clarion on Friday afternoon.

The Golden Eagle's (4-3-3, 4-1-2 PSAC) only goal of the day--from Jordan Bahr--was all that Clarion needed to hold off the Marauders (1-9-1, 0-7-1 PSAC). It came mid-way through the first on a mishandled Millersville clear attempt that bounced off a Marauder and came right to Bahr for the easy tally.

Olivia Taylor took a team-high four shots for Millersville, while Niki Roberts and Madison Williams each registered shots on goal in the contest.

Junior Taylor Suskie made her first appearance at keeper this season. She faced recorded four saves for the Marauders.

Millersville will continue play tomorrow afternoon at Chryst Field against the Fighting Scots of Edinboro. Game time is slated for 4:30 p.m.
