Millersville, Pa. - The Millersville women's soccer team hoped to send its four seniors out with the a victory, but Sarah Oswald scored a pair of goals to help fifth-ranked West Chester to a 2-0 win and clinch the No. 1 seed in the upcoming PSAC Tournament.
West Chester improved to 16-1 overall and 13-1 in league play by out-shooting Millersville (1-16-1, 0-13-1 PSAC) 24-8. Marauder keeper
Taylor Suskie stopped eight shots, but was matched by Lyndsie Bernardini, who recorded a shutout with two saves.
Oswald gave West Chester an early lead when she scored unassisted 18:24 into the contest. The score remained 1-0 until Melissa McKeary assisted Oswald at 50:26.
The two-goal advantage was plenty for the Golden Rams as the Marauders put just one shot on goal in the second half. Seniors

Alison Silva recorded Millersville's shots on goal.
The game was the last in the careers of Williams, Silva,
Olivia Taylor and
Lauren Thomas.
