Hummelstown, Pa. - Freshman Amber Rohrer led a trio of Millersville women's golfers at the PSAC Championship with a 16th-place finish.
Sunday's closing round at Hershey Links offered much improved weather conditions, but Rohrer's day two score increased by three shots, and she slipped into a tie for 16th. Still, the 31-over-par, two-round total, gave her the best-ever finish by a Marauder in its two years of competing in the championship.
Victoria Hess bettered her day one round by 14 shots and finished in 35th. Sara Weiss also improved by seven strokes to place 36th.
California (Pa.) retained the team title. California's Jenna Rothermel, who totaled a 14-over-par score, edged Gannon's Bhanisha Nagindas by one shot for the individual crown.
