Syracuse, N.Y. - For the second game in a row, the Millersville women's soccer team came up empty on the road. Le Moyne kept the Marauders off the scoreboard for a 2-0 win Saturday afternoon.
Le Moyne (4-1-1) out-shot Millersville (1-5) 14-4, and
Taylor Suskie managed Millersville's only shot on goal. Le Moyne's Melissa Stevens stopped made the one save to record the shutout. It was the fourth straight defeat for Millersville. Since a 5-0 win over Goldey-Beacom on Aug. 31, the Marauders have managed just three goals.

Brandi Tipton kept the game close, though. She stopped six shots including four in the second half.
Just over 21 minutes into the game, Le Moyne put its first goal on the board. Melissa Cathcart beat Tipton from 15 yards out after a corner kick by Caitlin O'Rourke. Tipton and the Marauders kept Le Moyne scorless until 11 minutes to go when Jennifer Fabian scored unassisted to put the game out of reach.
Millersville hopes to snap its skid on Sept. 16 at PSAC East foe Mansfield. Game time is 4 p.m.
