Shepherdstown, W.Va. - The Millersville men's tennis team bounced back from its first loss in over a month by sweeping Shepherd 9-0 in a non-conference match Monday afternoon.
Drew Slocum continued his stellar play at No. 1 singles, winning 6-2, 6-3. He also teamed with
Andrew Sorgi to win 9-7 over Andy Bosco and Bruno Azevedo at No. 1 doubles.
Donald Swantko earned a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 2, and #Mark Treires cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win as well.
Henry Ben led 2-1 before his opponent bowed out,
Dusty Speicher logged a 6-3, 6-1 triumph at No. 5 singles, and
Colton Brown downed Jordan Hunter in convincing fashiong, 6-1, 6-0.
With the victory, the Marauders improve to 10-4 on the season.
The Marauders travel to Philadelphia for a match against the University of the Sciences Tuesday afternoon.
