Edinboro, Pa. – Goalkeeper Jaime Lancaster recorded a career-high 17 saves, but it was not enough as the Fighting Scots scored on a header in the second overtime period to knock off Millersville, 2-1.

The Marauders (4-4-0) were outshot heavily by the Fighting Scots, 32-5. It was the excellent goalkeeping of Lancaster combined with a late goal in regulation by Stephanie Mellott that kept Millersville in the match.

Mellott took a feed in the form of a corner kick from Ali Silva with just under seven minutes remaining in the game to tie the score at one apiece.

Edinboro's Jessica Morgan put an end to the nearly one-hundred and five minute affair with a header to beat Lancaster. The goal was Morgan's first of her career.

The Marauders will take the field again Wednesday, September 24, when they travel to East Stroudsburg for a 7:30 p.m. start.
