Millersville's women swimmers finished off 2008 with a bang Saturday after they traveled to Mansfield University and blasted the Mountaineers 154-40. The victory marked the fifth straight win in dual meets for the Marauders and it keeps their unbeaten streak alive at 5-0. The team's next test is at Lock Haven on Jan. 16.
Freshman Breann Martinez used the meet to post a PSAC qualifying time for the second straight day. Friday, it was the 200-yard individual medley; Saturday it was the 100-yard butterfly.
In defeating the Mountaineers, the Marauders took nine of the 12 events, and in all but one finished with swimmers in the top two spots.
