Mansfield, Pa. – Neither team could find the back of the net in 110 minutes of play, as the Millersville women's soccer team recorded its second tie of the week, this time with the homestanding Mansfield Mountaineers.
Millersville (4-8-2, 1-5-2 PSAC East) entered the game fresh off of a 0-0 tie with nationally ranked West Chester on Wednesday evening. Saturday afternoon's contest proved to be another defensive struggle as the Marauders and Mountaineers (4-8-1, 1-6-1 PSAC East) failed to cash in on opportunities throughout the match.

Sarah Cameron almost broke the 0-0 tie in the 29th minute when her shot rang off the post. The goalies stood strong throughout the half, as Marauder keeper
Jaime Lancaster made two saves and Mansfield keeper Justine Segear made three.
Both Lancaster and Segear continued to have strong games throughout the second half and overtime. Lancaster stopped Natalie Adams scoring attempt midway through the second overtime to preserve the tie for the Marauders.
Lancaster finished with five saves on the afternoon.
The Marauders return to the field next Saturday when they travel to Philadelphia to take on Chestnut Hill in non-conference action. The game begins at 2 p.m.
