Junior right-handed pitcher Brandon Miller helped Millersville baseball to a season-opening win by allowing just one hit over 6.2 shutout innings against Winston-Salem State. Miller faced the minimum through six innings and did not allow a base runner from the second batter of the first inning to the second batter of the seventh. Miller struck out nine batters and at least one in every inning.
