Senior goalkeeper Lauren Sotzin helped Millersville to its first NCAA Division II Championship by totaling nine saves and allowing just one goal in the final two games of the NCAA Tournament. In the 2-1 overtime win against West Chester in the semifinals, Sotzin made five saves. In the championship, she stopped four shots including three in the final five minutes to preserve the national championship in a 1-0 win over LIU Post.
